1-2-1 Lessons in saxophone, improvisation and composition, in person or online. I’m also always happy to hear from people looking for mentoring or career guidance.
I’m currently enjoying being part of the team at Leeds Conservatoire as a Principal Lecturer, alongside visiting saxophone teaching at the University of Leeds and University of York.
I regularly contribute to workshops and masterclasses, and feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with students and musicians in a wide range of settings. A special thanks to everyone who has invited me to be involved over the years, including the National Jazz Collective, Royal Welsh College of Music, One World Music School (Delhi, India), British Council (Khartoum, Sudan), Jazz North, Lancaster Jazz Festival and Manchester Jazz Festival.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Jazz, MA Music, PhD Composition.
